The Officially Named Three
Time Shifter
The headline newcomer in the DLC announcements. The name alone guarantees a time-adjacent gimmick; the actual mechanic is to be verified in game — anything more specific right now would be fan fiction with a wiki header.
Veteran
Second named survivor. Kits for all three are under in-game verification; this card intentionally refuses to guess.
Archeologist
Third named survivor — Archeologist covering the theme and the fossil connection to the DLC’s item set.
How New Characters Actually Arrive
- Buy and install the DLC
The 10 survivors ship with the $3.99 expansion on Steam; base game required (Price).
- Enable the Item Set
The v1.2 Item Set toggle in character select governs whether DLC content — characters included — appears. Off means base-game-only, by design (1.2 Update).
- Unlock within the game
Each survivor has its own unlock condition, none published in official materials. Verified conditions will be listed as they are confirmed in-game — including whether any are gated behind Gameplay.
More Newcomers Later?
The base game grew its roster for years, and a DLC with an Mutations and a live patch line (v1.2.0.0 → v1.2.0.1 in the first 48 hours) has room to do the same. No additional characters are announced, and this wiki will not predict them — when one is, it lands first on X or Steam announcements, then here and on the News.
