What v1.2.0.1 Actually Did
The day-one hotfix touched three areas:
Mutagen drop rate
The Mutation path’s key resource became more common: the base drop probability went from 2% to 3%. If your Mutations felt starved on day one, this is why.
Bug fixes
Issues affecting the Survivor mode, co-op play, and shop interfaces were fixed. Players hitting Crash Fixes should patch before troubleshooting further.
No new content
v1.2.0.1 was a balance-and-fixes patch. No new weapons, characters or items were added — the Content List is unchanged.
How Updates Reach Players
Primal Dread updates arrive as Brotato updates: the base game’s version number advances (currently v1.2.0.1) and Steam delivers the patch to everyone who owns the DLC. There is no separate DLC branch, beta channel or public test realm on record — see the Beta? for why that matters.
