Official mediaBrotato Primal Dread DLC Pricing, Editions & Value Guide
Brotato: Primal Dread costs $3.99 on Steam and requires the base game. This guide breaks down the price, what the DLC includes, and whether it is worth buying.
Primal Dread is a paid DLC priced at $3.99 US on Steam, and it is not standalone: you need the base game Brotato to play it. This section explains exactly what that price buys — the 20-wave Jungle map, 10 new characters, 17 new weapons, 40 new items including the Fossil series, and the Evolution system with its Mecha and Mutation paths — so you can judge the value for yourself. We also cover how regional pricing and bundles behave at checkout, and what the DLC's Steam review situation looks like, without inventing sales numbers nobody has published.
Base game required
The DLC price sits on top of Brotato itself. If you do not already own the base game, budget for both — Steam will not let you checkout with the DLC alone.
