The threat types below are developer-confirmed; the stat blocks are not. The official DLC materials describe the Jungle’s enemy roster by behavior — how each threat attacks and what it does to the battlefield. Names, HP values, wave placements and elite variants are being verified in-game and are deliberately absent until then. This is the honest version of a bestiary that other sites fill with invented numbers.
The Confirmed Threat Roster
Charging dinosaur packs
Dinosaurs that attack in groups and charge. Numbers, speed and damage per dino: to be verified. The pack behavior is the tactic — spread them, cross the charge line, use the Dinosaurs for movement counters.
Flying enemies
Confirmed as a Jungle hazard. Behavior beyond flight is undocumented — altitude means melee-only builds care more than anyone.
Terrain pits
The environment fights too: pits are a confirmed new danger on the map itself, independent of any enemy. They punish autopilot movement at every danger level.
Mecha dinosaurs (Evolution)
On the Mecha path: enemies become mecha dinosaurs that fire lasers and leave slowing oil slicks. Ranged pressure plus ground control — the official description, no more, no less.
Mutant dinosaurs (Evolution)
On the Mutation path: mutant dinosaurs that spread acid. Area denial that compounds as waves run long — full mechanics on the Mutations.
Bosses
Not mentioned in the confirmed content record. The 20-Gameplay gauntlet and Evolution variants are what is official; boss claims are player speculation until verified.
Countering Each Threat Class — Verified Mechanics Only
- Charging packs: converge on your position — perpendicular movement beats retreat; pits and hazards become weapons when the chase crosses them.
- Flyers: punish stationary builds; reposition on a rhythm instead of planting.
- Pits: pure positioning — the only threat you fully control by watching your feet.
- Laser + oil (Mecha): fights drift; slowing slicks make straight-line kiting worse than arc movement.
- Acid (Mutation): ground denial that grows — end fights fast or fight on the move; regeneration and shields soften the tax.
General survival framing lives in the Danger 5 Guide.
How This Bestiary Gets Filled
The verification pipeline is the same one the Characters and Crates & Weapons follow: in-game Codex entries and observed runs, published field by field as confirmed — never pre-filled from guesswork. Patch-line changes (like v1.2.0.1’s Mutagen buff) land in the Update Tracker and propagate here.
Enemy Army FAQ
What enemies does Primal Dread add?
Confirmed by behavior: charging dinosaur packs, flying enemies, terrain pits as an environmental hazard, plus Evolution-path variants — laser-firing mecha dinosaurs that leave oil, and acid-spreading mutant dinosaurs.
Are there new bosses in the DLC?
Bosses are not in the confirmed content record. Any boss list you see online is speculation until verified in game.
Do enemies have published stats?
No — names, HP and wave placements are not published. This wiki verifies them in game before listing, so the bestiary grows without invented numbers.
