Dinosaurs are the DLC’s identity. Primal Dread’s Jungle is prehistoric by design, and every officially described threat in it is dinosaur-shaped — or dinosaur-adjacent. What follows is the confirmed behavioral catalog; per-species stats and names are to be verified in-game, so you will find tactics here, not fabricated HP bars.
The Dino Catalog, By Behavior
Pack chargers
The baseline Jungle dinosaur: attacks in groups and charges. The counter is geometric, not statistical — break the convergence, move across the charge line, and let the Enemy Army thin the pursuit.
Flying threats
Confirmed flying enemies over the Jungle. The official record stops at “flying” — altitude-aware builds (ranged, hybrid) hold the documented advantage over pure melee.
Mecha dinosaurs
The Mecha path’s twist: dinosaurs that fire lasers and leave slowing oil slicks where they pass. Two threats in one body — a ranged attack and terrain that degrades your movement.
Mutant dinosaurs
The Mutation path’s mirror twist: dinosaurs that spread acid. The longer the fight, the less ground is safe — the official counterpart to the mecha oil game.
Why Dinos Change the Fight
Base Brotato enemies mostly threaten by contact and projectiles. The Jungle’s dinosaur roster adds terrain as a persistent weapon — pits by design, oil and acid by Evolution path — and grouping as a default, since chargers arrive as packs. Together they tax positioning continuously, which is why the Gameplay calls movement the Jungle’s true difficulty dial. The trade is symmetrical: herds that funnel badly can be dragged through pits and over each other’s slicks.
Names, Stats and the Verification Line
Official materials describe behaviors, not species sheets. So: dino names — to be verified in game; HP, damage, speed — to be verified; wave assignments — to be verified; which of the 10 Characters counters which dino — theorycraft until kits are documented. What you read above is the complete official record, and it is exactly as much as any honest site can claim today. Watch the Update Tracker as patches land — v1.2.0.1 already rebalanced one drop rate in the first week.
Dinosaurs FAQ
Are there dinosaurs in Brotato Primal Dread?
Yes — they define the DLC. Charging packs, flying enemies, laser-firing mecha dinosaurs that leave oil, and acid-spreading mutants are all officially confirmed.
What are the dinosaurs' names and stats?
Not published in official materials. Behaviors are confirmed; names, HP and wave placements are being verified in game before listing.
Which Evolution path has harder dinosaurs?
Neither is strictly harder: Mecha brings ranged lasers plus slowing oil; Mutation brings acid that compounds over time. Different movement taxes — pick the one your build can pay.
